What is Skinvive?

Skinvive is a Hyaluronic Acid skin booster designed to increase hydrations, elasticity, firmness, smoothness and radiance in the skin. It is used primarily to address concerns like dullness and texture. Hyaluronic Acid works by attracting and maintaining water content in the skin. Online other Hyaluronic Acid gel fillers, Skinvive is very thin and designed to be injected more superficially to smooth rather than add volume. We often refer to this as a skin booster or injectable moisturizer.

Skinvive is appropriate for almost any client looking for a lasting glow and/or help with improving skin quality concerns like uneven texture, fine lines and dullness.

What is the Procedure like?

Skinvive is injected in tiny micro-droplets intradermally in a grid formation on the cheeks. The procedure typically takes less than 15 minutes. Bruising, tenderness, redness and small "pebble-like" bumps under the skin are potential, but temporary side effects. Skinvive contains a small amount of lidocaine for comfort during treatment.

After the procedure, it can take approximately 2-4 weeks to see visible results. Some people experience continued gradual improvements over the duration of their treatment. The effects of this injectable moisturizer last around 6 months. It is recommended to repeat twice per year, or 4-6 weeks before a big event. Skinvive is best paired with a good hydrating and barrier-protecting skincare routine.

I also love this product for peri-oral lines (accordion lines, and "smokers lines"), and extended crow's feet. In areas we don't want to add volume, Skinvive is a great option for smoothing and rejuvenating with extra hydration.
